Be not only hearers of the word but be doers of the word

We live in a time where there is a lot of talk, but not a lot of action. Jesus says to us, “If you love me you will obey my commandments. Later we are told in the book of James that faith without works is dead.

Well, we LOVE JESUS and we want our faith to be ALIVE, so every 5th Sunday through the year we gather to not hear the Word but DO the Word.

After worship, we split into groups and live out the Word together as a church body.

PROJECTS

Foster Care:

• Diaper Drives

• Blessing Bags to incoming Children

• Notes of encouragement and prayer to Foster Parents

• Notes of encouragement and prayer to Care Workers

Teachers & Schools:

• Notes of encouragement and prayer

• Notes and prayers over every student

• Classroom Projects

• Supply drives for teachers and students

First Responders:

• Blessing Boxes

• Prayers

• Baked Goods & Notes

Homeless Support:

• Sack lunches

• Resource bags

• Prayer

Prayer Walks:

• Walking through neighborhoods, praying over homes and individuals

Community Needs:

• Repair projects for single moms

• Work projects

• Widow care: lawn, house, etc..
