Houston Texas Trip

General Items:

  • A SERVANTS HEART (Jesus came to seek and to serve - we are going to follow in his steps).

  • A GOOD ATTITUDE (even when things change or you are asked to do something you don’t like).

  • Bible | Notebook | Pen

  • Clothing for the week. We will be outside most of the day, it will be hot and we will be playing with children outside. We will be there 5 days + 2 days travel.

  • Bed Clothes (We will all be sleeping on air mattress in a church sanctuary and rooms).

  • Closed toed shoes for the outreaches (running shoes are great, there will be a lot of walking).

  • Swim suit (we may play water games, and we may drive down to Galveston one day to visit the beach).

  • Book Bag (for things while out during the day)

  • Water Bottle

  • Tooth Paste

  • Deodorant

  • Feminine Hygiene Products

  • Shampoo | Conditioner | Soap

  • 2 Towels

  • Sweatshirt | Long Sleeve Shirt incase you get cold at night

  • Sunscreen

  • Hat

  • Sandels

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Sunglasses

  • Flashlight

  • Ear plugs (Some people may snore)

  • Eye Mask (You may want to go to bed before others)

  • Snacks (Travel & while there)

  • Watch

  • Insect repellent (We will be outside a lot)

Sleeping Items:

  • Sleeping Bag | Blanket | Sheet

  • Money for meals during travel

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

  • Overly fancy clothing

  • Revealing clothing

  • Expensive Jewelry

  • Too many books or electronics (spend time with your team and with others).
